If you receive a UK government service pension – for example, from work in the armed forces, civil service, police, or teaching – it remains taxable in the UK only.
Even though you still report this income on your French tax return, France applies a credit equal to the French income tax and social charges that would have been due on it. In practice, this means you don’t pay tax twice on the same income.
